Sorry it took so long to reply. I'm sure you've noticed not many people use this forum. As a result, I don't check it often.
Triad's Jiu Jitsu is taught with real life self defense in mind. Traditional Gracie jiu jitsu was developed as a form of self defense. It was not intended as a sport. Triad stays true to this. Triad is a self defense school. If you come to a few classes, you'd see pretty quickly that knowing how to defend yourself is the primary focus of Triad's jiu jitsu program. It just so happens we also have people who use it do do very well in jiu jitsu competitions, and MMA. Triad's jiu jitsu program doesn't train you to score points, it trains you to finish your opponent. Even our MMA class is actually a "Vale Tudo" class, not an MMA class. It teaches every aspect of fighting, not just what is allowed in MMA.
As for the next top model crap, that is Proboards doing, not ours. They choose what ads show on any proboards forum.
